A male perpetrated a vicious attack on a female in downtown Kingston today, biting off her finger in order to steal her ring.

The attack, which was captured on camera, reportedly occurred on Peter’s Lane in downtown Kingston. One of her digits of her right hand was severely injured. A portion of the finger was severed during the attack.

The Corporate Communication Unit confirmed the attack.
