JERMAINE EDWARDS

Jermaine Edwards’ decade-old hit Beautiful Day has benefitted from a social media fillip and is now surging up charts in the United States.

The song was re-released in February, with additional vocals from Rushawn and Prinz.

The song recently charted on the UK’s Official Top 100 (it peaked at number 63) and it has now made its transition over to the US, where it rests at number 26 on the latest US Afrobeats Songs chart. It slips from seven to 10 on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart.

Beautiful Day was first released in 2014 and was featured on Edwards’ album Don’t Count Me Out, which was issued by ISLANDWORSHIP. Still on the Billboard charts, Legend by Bob Marley and the Wailers clocks 167 non-consecutive weeks in the number one spot on the Reggae Albums chart.
