The establishment of the LUMI as a financial instrument and currency backed by solar energy and gold offers a solid economic foundation for African unity, economic development, self determinism. The LUMI finally gives an opportunity for African nations and people to take a leadership role in the Continent’s development and elimination of poverty and a chance to enter into new realms and dimensions to build a New World Order for Africa and Africans, based on having a solid economic base in the mineral and natural resources of the Continent.

The LUMI will be the foundation on which to build national industries based on the wealth of Africa’s indigenous mineral resources, population, scientific innovations and inter-connected international links, and will strengthen the inbred determination for survival that kept Africa alive through 400 years of European domination by enslavement and colonialism.

HISTORY OF THE LUMI
The LUMI was originally established in 2019 as a digital and monetary currency within the Maroon communities and the African Diaspora, by Maroon Finance Minister Timothy McPherson.

And so, the financial engineer Timothy McPherson, having worked 22 years for one of the oldest banks in the world, continued his mission to make the LUMI the most stable digital currency in the world in the classical sense of money. This led him to meet with Financial Technician and Banking wizard Dr Linus Etube the inventor of the Swifin digital wallet. This on-boarded and distributed the LUMI currency to over 1.4 million people worldwide to 175 countries registering over 10 thousand people a day.
Mcpherson also signed a contract of collaboration with the African Financial Regulatory Authority(AFRA) to help it to implement its mandate set forth by the African Union, which summarizes the creation of (a) a regulatory arm called AFRA, (b) an African Central Bank for all member sovereign nations of Africa and (c) the creation of a stable central currency that all member nations can use to conduct trade on the continent of Africa.
Driven by the intent to ensure that the LUMI maintained its peg value and continue to fulfill the definition of money in the classical sense, Mcpherson and Dr. Linus teamed up with long time cryptocurrency magnet and wizard Dr. Shane Jack Heffernan, creator of Knightsbridge exchange, and internet strategist founder Richard Victor Mahee.
Richard Victor Mahee, founder of Mahvrick(M12, is an executive producer and venture capitalist in the apparel, music and television industries, who represents some of the most notable brands in their respective industries.
This led them to create a cryptocurrency completely separate from the LUMI. (LUMI DIGITAL) but backed by LUMI, so as to not confuse the LUMI as cryptocurrency. As a result of this important step, existing LUMI coinholders can convert their currency to LUMI DIGITAL on the Kightsbridge and M1 exchanges. McPherson stresses the LUMI is non-fiat and money in the classical sense.
Under the historical leadership of Mahvrick(M12) and Knightsbridge the SOLAR-GOLD Crypto Coin was launched and open to the market on November 2021. Richard Mahee has registered the SOLAR-GOLD (SOLG) with Knightsbridge commercial currency group and by so doing, established the SOLAR GOLD as a viable trading currency.
Mahvrick(M12) also operates a private venture capital group that is overseeing its synergistic ventures on public exchanges in Asia, Canada and Europe which have all started the process for registration with Binance, Kraken and/or Coinbase. Mahvrick(M12) is launching M1 exchange in December 2021 for its 12 cryptocurrencies. The exchange has international banking partners and has a sub-prime relationship under Knightsbridge.
The LUMI is now fully established as the first global African digital currency to ever come out of Africa. The LUMI is an Authorized Currency of the Africa Financial Regulatory Authority(AFRA), which includes all 55 African member nations on Africa’s continent who have signed on to the African Free Trade Agreement(AFTRA).
Jamaican National Hero Marcus Garvey advocated that Africans should control the wealth of Africa. He taught that control of resources, control of self, and control of a nation, requires preparation and economic security. The LUMI fulfills the realization of Marcus Garvey’s economic dream for Africa and African people at home and abroad.
