The residents of New Forest recoiled in horror as the details of a double murder scene where a father and son were killed in the Manchester community on Friday morning.

A police source said the men, Hubert ‘Bestie’ Ferguson, 60, and his entertainer son, 33 year old Floyd ‘Fido’ Ferguson were gunned down after their hands were bound about midnight in an attack near their home in the south Manchester community.

One of the murder victims has been identified only by his artiste name ‘Fido’. His father was also killed. Residents say that the double murder heralds the death of a whole generation.

“The whole Ferguson generation dead out now!” one resident observed.

“Fido’s brother was a scammer name Leighton and him dead offa bike inna Mandevkille. Fido’s mother Marlene used to operate a go go club and she died of natural causes and now Fido rise up as a big chappa and ah hold down GLE53 and dem ting de and dem murder him and him father, jah jah!” one resident told ON876NEWS.

“A whole generation dead out. The man dem tie up Fido and him father and even ah try chop off dem head but is like the cutting tool dem did dull.”

Police have yet to establish a clear motive into the incident.

Statistics from the police show that up to Sunday, May 31, Manchester recorded 14 murders compared to eight for the corresponding period last year.

This latest incident has pushed the number of murders recorded in the parish to 16 since the start of the year.
