Squash gets ‘squashed’ by the Feds with new racketeering charges

Federal prosecutors have swooped in to take over the case of controversial dancehall entertainer, Squash. Word on the street is that the Big Breeze artiste could be swept away by a whole new raft of racketeering charges related to gun running and other illegal activities.

The entertainer, whose given name is Andrae Maurice Whittaker, will now have to defend himself in a federal court after the original charges in Miami were dropped.

It’s understood that Squash’s arraignment was halted in the local courts when federal prosectors stepped in and announced they intended to take charge of the case.

The charges of possession of a modified firearm and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit have been officially dropped.

In their place are two new charges.
