Will Mother’s Love lose his foreign visa after charge?

The police dem arrest Mother’s love earlier this week after he was seen in a viral video promoting violence on social media.

Police confirmed that Giovannie Skeen, also called ‘Mother Love’, a clothes vendor of Marlborough district in Balaclava, St Elizabeth was charged with use of audiovisual communication to promote violence.

This incident may damage the TikTokker’s visa credentials as he now has a formal charge on his record. He travelled abroad recently, his fans confirmed online.

Skeen posted another five-minute video online seeking to clarify and justify his earlier comments.

“When mi say fi turn Jamaica ina Haiti, mi nuh mean fi use no gun and kill nobody,” he said, instead pointing to injustices he said he had observed.

Why mi say mi want Jamaica or the whole world turn ina Haiti, how much people out deh weh poor and a suffer nuh have no house, no business, no work…the people dem fi get work,” he said

The vendor, however, refused to apologise for his earlier comments.

As a result of the initial post, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the police carried out a targeted operation in the Balaclava community, where Skeen was seen and detained.

He was then taken into custody, and later charged.
