Spice scores big with SPOTIFY’S EQUAL campaign

Grammy nominated dancehall deejay Spice landed another major feather in her well-coiffed wig when she was featured on Spotify’s EQUAL campaign recently.

Since its launch, EQUAL has shone the spotlight on women through global partnerships, content experiences, and platform support, which are all created to foster equity for women in audio and celebrate their contributions.

The EQUAL Global Music Program extends resources and opportunities to female artistes and amplifies their music through the flagship EQUAL Global playlist and EQUAL local playlists.

Spice’s hit single So Mi Like It has been featured on the Equal Global and Equal US playlists.

The single is also featured on the Canada playlist and sees the “Queen of Dancehall” serving as the cover act.

A promotional billboard has been erected at Toronto’s Eaton Center in support of the campaign.

So Mi Like It continues to break barriers, hitting more than 106 million views on YouTube and more than 54 million Spotify streams.
