Reggae star Bugle has high hopes for his latest single, ‘Love Again’ featuring reggae superstar Maxi Priest. Bugle said he thoroughly enjoyed working with the ‘living legend’.

“Working with Maxi Priest for me is definitely an accomplishment in my book. Maxi Priest is definitely a living legend, one of reggae’s greatest vocalists and I’m honored to be able to be on a track with him,” Bugle said.

Produced by Boogie Down Records, Bugle released the official music video for this romantic reggae track on March 1, 2026.

The new visual—directed by Caribbean Gold Group—has brought the collaboration with the British reggae legend back to the forefront of the charts, racking up thousands of views since its release.

Bugle is confident that the song will resonate with reggae audiences.

“So I came up with the entire song and thought it would be nice to have this song as a featured song, the producers, Boogie Down Records and Taz, and Maxi have a great relationship so I demo it and tell him to reach out to Maxi and see if he liked it. The producers came back to me excited, saying Maxi really felt it and had great things to say about me as an artiste as well, so we got it done,” Bugle said.

The song’s message aligns seamlessly with Bugle’s ongoing commitment to conscious music that encourages audiences to rise above negativity and remain grounded in purpose.

Bugle was in the process of recording his 2024 album Apex, when Boogie Down Records reached out to him with the idea for the beat.

“From the moment I heard it, I knew I would love to have a love song on it and use it on my album as well, and I don’t think any other artiste was more perfect to be on that song with me than Maxi Priest,” he said.

The reggae icon Maxi Priest was on tour in the US at the time, so the production team had to wait to record the vocals of the ‘Wild World’ singer.

“When Maxi got back to London, he went straight into the studio even with his hoarse voice and did it, and that within itself, tells me that he has a lot of respect for his craft so you know him get some extra respect from me because he didn’t have to do it, but he did. Big Up Maxi,” Bugle said.

The video for ‘Love Again’ is visually excellent featuring gorgeous shots of aquamarine sea, stunning coastlines and cliffs off the coast of Montego Bay in St. James.

“We wanted to showcase the water sports, the golf course, just the natural beauty of Jamaica to complement this reggae love song, it was the perfect combination,” he said.

LOVE AGAIN – MAXI PRIEST AND BUGLE

The ‘Love Again’ collaboration was one of the critically-acclaimed tracks from Bugle’s highly regarded Apex album.

“I’m fully focused on getting a lot done, and I’ve already started even before the year started,” a confident Bugle said.

Bugle said that he would be seeking to do other collaborations with Boogie Down Records.

“This is actually my first time working with them and it was indeed a good experience. They are hands-on and know what they want and also stay on top of their game and I really love that. Big up the whole production crew and I’m looking forward to working with them in the near future,” Bugle said.
