There is a simmering feud between producer Justus Arison of JA Productions and selector Foota Hype that is threatening to boil over in the streets. The bad blood between the two allegedly started over three weeks ago when Foota Hype shut off the sound playing the Mavado title track single on Arison’s High Life riddim.

The ‘Good Book’ singer says he is looking forward to delivering another invigorating set to the French speaking nation to which he’s no stranger.

Dancehall star Masicka has shown that he is able to do social commentary with his Mario Deane tribute, ‘Life Keeps on Crying’.

“I was motivated to do the song because I felt it was very tragic and unjust for a man to lose his life over a spliff when governments all over the world, and even Jamaican government, are moving to legalize the tree of life, marijuana,” he said.

Blak Ryno has signed a recording and management deal with JA Productions. Now he has a radio hit single with Side Chick where he borrows a Sean Kingston melody for his hook.

Beenie Man has one of the most impressive songs on the High Life riddim. He has racked up over 13,000 plus views in only one month with this gem of a song.
