Chronic Law arrested in Florida?

Dancehall star Chronic Law has been arrested in Florida on suspicion of traffic charges, including the serious charge of attempting to elude a police officer. He is presently in the custody of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

His detention is listed on ICE’s website.

The agency has not disclosed details surrounding the reason for his detention and his current location.

The artiste, whose real name is Ackeme Jermane Campbell, was arrested on November 17th on a charge of theft by receiving stolen property by the police after a warrant was issued for his arrest. The Badness Upgarde artiste was released on a US$6,000 bond.

However, reports are that Hillside artiste’s issues were compounded when the artiste’s one year work permit expired late last year.

ICE is a federal law enforcement agency under the United States Department of Homeland Security. Its stated mission is to conduct criminal investigations, enforce immigration laws, preserve national security, and protect public safety.

The traffic charges include improper/erratic lane change, reckless driving, speeding in excess of maximum speed limit, driver failing to exercise due care, and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.
