With his viral smash Red Light Pepper Light setting social media ablaze, the flamboyant dancehall veteran is cashing in on his latest hot streak, accepting a $1.5 million offer to perform at Beenie Man’s Summer Sizzle on August 15.
And here’s the kicker: Fambo and Beenie Man have spent the past few weeks trading enough verbal fire to start their own summer sizzle.
Now, money — and music — may be bringing the former friends back to the same stage.
Fambo confirmed that Billboard-charting producer Kemar ‘Flava’ McGregor reached out to him and indicated that he was prepared to meet the artiste’s $1.5 million asking price.
“Yes, I am ready to do the show,” Fambo declared.
Just like that, dancehall’s latest beef may be headed for the barbecue.
From Beef to Summer Sizzle?
Beenie Man’s Summer Sizzle returns on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Woodleigh Sports Complex in May Pen, Clarendon, after a six-year hiatus.
And if Fambo has his way, the night could deliver more than another performance.
“I am going to call on a few guests. Me and nobody nuh inna no war. I am an entertainer, and I want to make sure my fans have a great time,” he said.
That is quite the plot twist.
Fambo and Beenie Man have been going at each other publicly in recent weeks, exchanging stinging remarks and disses as tensions between the longtime associates spilled into the dancehall spotlight.
But their history isn’t all bad blood.
The two struck musical gold with Rum and Red Bull, the infectious collaboration that became one of Fambo’s signature hits and cemented their chemistry with dancehall audiences.
Now, after weeks of throwing verbal punches, Summer Sizzle could provide the perfect setting to bury the hatchet — or at least put it down long enough to pick up the microphone.
And imagine the reaction if the opening notes of Rum and Red Bull suddenly hit.

Fambo kicked off August with Supahype’s pre-birthday celebration at Aktiv Tuesdays on Chelsea Avenue on August 4 before heading to Portland on August 8 and Sugarman’s Beach on August 9.
His calendar remains packed, with appearances lined up at Gugu Mental’s birthday event on August 15, Old Harbour on August 16 and Mandeville on August 22.
But Summer Sizzle could become the show everybody remembers.
A Fambo appearance would bring together two men who have recently been trading barbs but who also share one of dancehall’s most recognisable party records.
Whether the moment ends with a handshake, a hug or an explosive rendition of Rum and Red Bull remains to be seen.
One thing, however, is clear.
Future Fambo is having a moment.
The bookings are coming. The Internet is talking. Red Light Pepper Light is moving.
And with $1.5 million reportedly on the table, Fambo isn’t stopping at the red light.
He’s driving straight to Summer Sizzle.
