 LandWeLove.com, the brainchild of Jamaican entrepreneur Jacques Graham, will be officially launched in New York on Saturday, August 6, 2016. The New York launch is significant, as it coincides with the celebration of Jamaica’s 54th anniversary of independence and just in time for the fans and well-wishers of Jamaica’s Olympic team to Rio 2016. The launch will be hosted by Country Kitchen Restaurant in Pelham Manor from 4pm – 10pm where all Olympic gear will be made available for sale.  

The streets are buzzing with talk about Noface Unknown's latest track, 'Warning' on the Red Dot riddim which appears to take aim at fellow deejay Popcaan.

Negril is bracing for the Appleton Special Dream Weekend tonight which kicks off this year’s staging with Magnum Dream Live Concert at Cayenne Beach in Negril.

Miss Cleo, the psychic with the faux Jamaican accent, who was the centre of a popular cult ad campaign in the nineties, is now dead. In  the 90s, she was a pitchwoman for the Psychic Readers Network before it closed down.   

Rizing Starz recording artiste Dimon Treajah became a source of controversy in his hometown community of Naggo Head, Portmore last week when shots were fired by persons unknown at a dance during the playing of his Sexual Healing hit song.  

  Dancehall star Ishawna shot a video for the single, 'Everybody Needs Some Company' , produced by DJ Frass. She has been at the centre of a firestorm of criticism since she was a no-show on Dancehall Night at Reggae Sumfest.  According to Joe Bogdanovich, principal of Summerfest Productions, which produces Reggae Sumfest, he is unaware of why Ishawna did not turn up at the event, but he has asked his lawyers to look into the issue.

  Raggatronic collective We Chief dropped a new film dubbed  'The Adventures of a Booty Clap Soldier' which has been getting rave reviews on youtube. The video itself has racked up 20,000 views in only one week.

ikon da Link on assault charge, court on September 18th
