Pop star Rihanna and Popcaan have recorded a collaboration that will be released this year.

Jamaican-American rapper XXxxtentacion is the first artiste to score a posthumous number one song on that chart in a lead role since The Notorious BIG's Mo Money, Mo Problems topped the chart in 1997. Biggie also had Jamaican roots. 

Dancehall artiste Popcaan is refuting damaging statements made by a Bahamas promoter in the wake of the artiste's no-show show in Abaco Islands, The Bahamas, over the weekend, saying that a series of egregious breaches by the promoter of the artiste's contract led to the artiste's decision to not do the show.

Even though Mavado has been in dialogue with the Constant Spring police through his lawyers, it is entirely possible that the cops could arrest him at the airport once he sets foot on a plane back to Jamaica.

Popcaan and his Unruly management is facing a lawsuit by Bahamian promoter Damien Thomas who is suing for losses incurred from the artiste's no-show at a concert in Abaco Islands recently.

Two schoolgirls were involved in an altercation at a gas station on Brunswick Avenue in St. Catherine earlier this week. One of the schoolgirls is now hospitalised after her throat was cut during the altercation. The police have arrested a 16 year-old minor in relation to the incident. The victim has been hospitalised and is recuperating.
