Tommy Lee Sparta is now in Europe on his virgin European tour.

The six-week-plus tour see the artiste doing pit stops in Holland, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany and England. And on the strength of his outrageously popular Captain Sparta song, he will perform on a children’s show in Sweden on April 24.

Musicologist Tony Laing passed away at the Pines Nursing Home at the St Joseph’s Hospital on Saturday. He was 68.

A strident advocate for a proper copyright system in Jamaica, especially for musicians, Laing had been ailing for some time.
He suffered a massive stroke in 2006, severely limiting his movement.
