Dancehall fans are wondering if Vybz Kartel’s murder trial, which is set for November 18, will be postponed once again. If so, it will mean that the deejay will be forced to spend his third consecutive Christmas holidays without his family. Supreme Court judge, Marjorie Cole-Smith, set a new trial date for November 18 through to December 6 but at this time of the year, a lot of cases are often put off until the Hilary session which begins in January.

Ninja Man will have to wait till next year to know his fate when his murder trial is set to commence.
The infamous artiste, his son Janiel and two co-accused are set to go on trial for murder on April 7. The co-accused are Dennis Clayton; and Seymour Samuels, and all are jointly charged with the March 16, 2009 murder of Ricardo ‘Ricky Trooper’ Johnson.
The trial was scheduled to begin in the Home Circuit Court earlier this week but was postponed because Ninja Man’s attorney Valerie Neita-Robertson was involved in another matter.

The St. Andrew Park Citizens Association have stepped up their lobby to curtail the activities of the Down Sound Records studio in their community, and have contacted highranking members of the government as well as the police force to tackle the problem of what they claim is illegal parking, weed smoking and noise which they claim originates from persons who frequent the studio.

DJ Frass is on the verge of international stardom as the Mavado single, ‘Weed and Hennessey’, is being considered for inclusion as a bonus remix track on DJ Khaled’s latest album, ‘Suffering From Success’. The album has already spawned a platinum hit by Drake, ‘No New Friends’ which also features DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross.
