All the one-handed typists went wild over the weekend as the Maggotty High school video version of ‘Girls Gone Wild’ went viral. While I found the pictures disturbing, I feel that the knee jerk reaction of the school’s principal and his pre-emptive comments that he would dismiss all the students seen in the video is equally disturbing. Why should his first reaction be to punish these children who are perhaps in need of psychiatric counselling or at least, some sort of intervention to give them essential life skills if they are to become fully functional members of society. I believe that the principal and the entire school board should resign in shame because they have failed these kids.
