Years ago, former Commissioner of Police Owen Ellington sued the Government to recover damages for alleged malicious prosecution.
He contended at the time that the arresting officer, acting in the course of his employment, maliciously and without reasonable and probable cause laid the information against him. Now he may be facing a lawsuit from Adidja Palmer aka Vybz Kartel for making libelous statements against him that suggested that the artiste is responsible for over 100 murders.
