
Why am I not surprised that Tessanne Chin’s latest album has been voted the worst debut in The Voice’s history selling just under 7,000 copies in its first week. Before winning The Voice, selling 7,000 copies would have been celebrated, but right now, I am sure that not even her record label is going to ante up to shoot a music video for her. After Sharon Burke and her management team whored her out performing at soirees for corporate entities, and every single past students association possible, it seems, alas, that TESSANNE-MANIA IS OVER. Kaput! Dead! Finis! We love Tessanne just as much as our other national icons, but I am not gonna shell out US$10 to listen to her whack album.
