What the hell is going on the world of track and field? Just a few days after Tyson Gay confirming that he failed a drug test, news broke that several Jamaicans athletes including high profile competitors also failed drug tests less than a month leading into the IAAF World Championships.
The names of the athletes will be revealed pending confirmation. The news, which has devastated the Jamaican track and field fraternity, also comes just over a month after multiple Olympic medallist Veronica Campbell Brown failed drug tests at the May 4th Jamaica International Invitational at the National Stadium.
