2000 PLUS CRIMINAL CASES FILED MONTHLY IN JAMAICA

Figures from the parish court statistics reports for January to June show that there was an average of 2,451 new criminal cases filed across all parishes monthly, with a total of 14,824 new criminal cases entering the courts for the first six months of 2018.

The Jamaican government has committed $5 million towards the medical expenses of former national striker Luton Shelton, who is suffering from Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

The Calabar student who was caught on camera reportedly intimidating a teacher, is no longer at the institution. He was not expelled but just did not return to the school after Summer vacations. The cops have not been able to locate him either.
