Nkosi faces 'Struggles'

Emerging reggae singer Nkosi is generating a lot of excitement in the reggae genre with his breakout single 'Struggles'.   
Produced by Ireland Records, the track was released two months ago, and available for purchase via VPal and other major digital platforms.
"The feedback has been great, we are getting good reviews daily, the fans always encourage me to stay in the reggae style. My mother has ten children, I am the last one, I come hear about the struggle, and in our day to day life, we struggle, so is everybody struggle, especially when the break nah break," Nkosi told ONE876 EDITOR Claude Mills
"It was supposed to be a love song, but in turn into an inspiration song because we have a common struggle, both men and women, so it just turn out that way. My manager David Ireland even wrote the chorus, so it is a special song."
Nkosi seeks to embody positivity through roots rock reggae.
This song, 'Struggles' seeks to elevate the minds and inspire the hearts of the downtrodden to persevere, despite the odds.
"Sometimes the victory is so close, but you have to believe in yourself and those closest to you, everybody faces the pressure, women face it from the family if the man they choose is not earning, but sometimes if you persevere, the struggle is worth it," Nkosi said. 
He has an upcoming show on August 4th alongside Merciless and Tanto Blacks, and a fish fry on August 10th. He is also booked to perform at the annual show dubbed 'Soca Blowout' on November 10th in Lionel Town, Clarendon.
Last week, Nkosi released a new single, a joint production between Unum Consultants and Ireland Records, called 'Better Days' on FM radio, but the song will be officially released online next month.
