Jamaican music pioneer and actor, Count Prince Miller, has died.

The 85-year-old Miller who had been ailing for some time, died in hospital in the United Kingdom on Thursday morning.

 

Widely described as one of the greats who took Jamaican music to the world, Miller had a towering voice and a captivating personality that paved the way for his success in show business.

 

Perhaps best known as a musician for the hit single ‘Mule Train’, Miller, as an actor, also had some limelight, including a role in the James Bond film ‘Dr No’.
