Demarco scores with 'Remix'

Dancehall superstar Demarco is getting a huge buzz on a single called "Remix", produced by top flight producer Ainsley 'Notnice' Morris on the 'Ova Dweet' riddim. Released one month ago, the single has been racking up incredible numbers on youtube, and Demarco's team have shot a video for the project that will be released this weekend. 

 It has come to the attention of DownSound Records Limited that representations have been made publicly and privately to the effect that the exclusive recording and performance contract between the artist Ishawna and DownSound Records has been terminated.   

International reggae superstar Ky-mani Marley has released a new video for the single, 'Rule My Heart', which is getting rotation on all major cable and TV channels.

Insider sources have confirmed that dancehall artiste Ishawna has cut all ties with Down Sound Records and is no longer on the successful independent label's roster of artistes. 

Word on the street is that upcoming dancehall artiste Lanmine crashed off his bike during an accident early this morning and then was struck by a car. He is reportedly undergoing emergency surgery at the Spanish Town Hospital. 

Former West Indies cricketer Omari Bank's "System Set" single is befitting of today's climate, yet is a story as old as time, institutional racism that first shackled the feet and hands, but now shackles the minds of people of colour.
