It is possible that Vybz Kartel’s murder case could go on for another three years. Just look at Ninja Man’s case as an example. The matter, which has been before the courts since 2009, has now been re-scheduled to April 7 next year. Ninja Man is accused of the March 16, 2009 murder of Richard Johnson. So five years later, he is yet to stand trial for the offence and the case drags on, enriching the pockets of lawyers and frustrating the public. The Energy God, dancehall star Elephant Man will face the music today in the Home Circuit Court when he will stand trial on the charge of rape.

A spokesman for the New Jersey Attorney General’s office says that a grand jury will be empanelled today to hear the case involving embattled entertainer Andrew ‘Flippa Mafia’ Davis. No time frame has been set for the grand jury hearings.
