Mr. Vegas delivered a marquis performance as the headline act on the recent Boston Hot97 Strictly the Best concert in Boston on November 22. The Man ah Gallis entertainer put on a dancehall clinic, which cut through at least two decades of great dancehall and reggae music, underlining why he is regarded as one of the most consistent dancehall artistes in the Game today.

Hitting the stage at a few minutes before 12 midnight singing I Am Blessed, the 2000 strong crowd sang the song word for word in a defeaning chorus.

He then segued into Nuh Friend From Dem and then Sucky Ducky as he had the crowd in a towel-waving tizzy. The excitement level spiked to such a level that VOG, a popular radio personality from the Boston Hot 97 station ran onstage and began waving his towel like a hype man
as the crowd roared its approval.

"If yu listen to reggae over the past 15 years, put yu hand inna the air, mi nah talk bout the people dem who just start listen to dancehall since Vybz Kartel, if yu is a real reggae fan, put yu hands up," he urged.

His request was met with a frenzied show of hands, and then he launched into 'She's A Ho' and almost immediately as the club erupted into cheers as the women sang the chorus in one clear voice. He segued immediately into his first breakthrough hit, Nike Air and the cheers reached defeaning proportions.

Vegas paused to big up fellow entertainer Beenie Man.

"Beenie ah the first artiste to take me on a stage and say, 'sing yute', and he is still one of the best performers you will ever see on a stage," Vegas said to nods of agreement from the crowd. Then he sang the first few lines of 'Sim Simmer'.

Loud cheers greeted the riddim for 'Hot Gal Today' even before he uttered a word. At this point, Vegas could do no wrong.
He then asked his deejay to drop a song, and the deejay obliged by playing the classic dancehall hit, Action featuring Nadine Sutherland.

Vegas then deejayed 'Back It Up' on the Bookshelf riddim before singing Tanto Metro and Devonte's 'Everyone Falls in Love'.

Vegas has mastered the art of entertaining and he peppered his performance using classic songs such as Murder She Wrote and Nardo Ranks' Dem a Bleach, Buju Banton's 'Driver' and even sang Tracy Chapman's Sorry during his hour long performance.

He blazed a fire with a high-energy soca segment where he had the Caribbean audience. packed in like sardines, moving to the left and right. He employed two sexy female dancers to perform during his dance segment, doing #1 hit songs such as Hot Wuk and tek Weh Yuself and the present chart-burner, Bruk It Down.

He closed a highly entertaining set with his present hit song, Beautiful Life, capping a wonderful night of dancehall-reggae music which showcased the talents of I Wayne, Demarco, Khago, Wayne Marshall and Laza Morgan.
