A BOUNCE reporter asked Stacious 13 offbeat questions in the MAY ISSUE where she talks about her greatest fears, her juicy ‘love life’, her super-sexy tongue ring and how she’s plotting to shut the Dancehall Game down and shut the haters up. She is now cold-locking the number one spot on the Jamaica Music Countdown with Come Into My Room, her high-octane collaboration with Mavado.
Q: What are the plans for Stacious this Summer?
A: Lots of shows and recording
Q: Share with us how you were able to lose all that weight and keep it off. Have you had to give up your favourite foods like your mom's potato pudding?
A: Working out 6 days a week or as much as possible, I still eat ice cream chocolate pizza and other fattening things, I just do it in moderation.
Q: Describe your typical day in the city.
A: It depends which city I'm in. If a kingston most likely I'm in studio or running errands, if I'm in my favourite city (new york) I'm shopping till mi foot tired and mi hand full. Lol
Q: What has been your favourite country/city to perform in so far? And why?
A:. I would have to say Jamaica, because I don't have to be wondering how much they understand and if they’re getting the gist of what I'm saying.
Q: What are your greatest fears? Flying? Crowds? Large bodies of water?
A: Definitely boats and large bodies of water!!!!
Q: Do you have a favourite saying? And if so, by which author?
A: Why settle for mediocrity when there is excellence to be achieved. Some thing that was drilled in my head at St. Hugh's High. I've grown to believe it!
Q: What was your first job?
A: Data entry and computer sales.
Q: When did you lose your virginity? Was the guy a total jerk? Or does the guy still call you every now and then?
A "U too fass!", he was an OK guy and I run into him every now and again.
Q: Who is in your iPod now? Who are you feeling right now.
A: Don't own one but Lauryn Hill is in the CD player in my car.
Q: Which songs do you like to make love to? And which positions do you like to do with which phrases or verses?
A: None in particular.
Q: What sort of compliment gets your love juices flowing?
A: I don't really go for the "mushy" stuff, but the right kinda guy saying the simplest thing and being honest is hot!
Q: Are you tired of guys making provocative remarks about your tongue ring?
A: Sometimes, some a dem just chat too much and just plain stupid and it would be better if they just looked and kept their thoughts to themselves.
Q: Where's the craziest place you have ever made love?
A: That's for me and that special man to remember and for you to keep wondering
