Down Sound Records recording artiste Nature is still beaming with pride after his triumphant performance during International Night 1 at Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay.
Introduced by IRIE FM disc jockey Elise Kelly, Nature immediately thrilled the packed Catherine Hall venue with his first song, Original Herbsman, that had the crowd bobbing and grooving. He then segued into the delightful ‘Mama You Saved Me’ which earned him a decent forward from the audience.
Nature is a dynamic and accomplished performer and his high-stepping dancing antics delighted the crowd as he did songs such as ‘Wasting Time’ and ‘Hold On’ in quick succession. One of the highlights of his performance was his gambit of holding the microphone under his arm, while singing, and then transferring the microphone to his other arm, while never missing a beat. The crowd was amazed and awed at his theatrics, and the sheer energy he brought to his onstage performance.
“After the performance, some artistes actually came up to me and said that I taught them something new because they had never seen anybody do that before,” Nature said.
Nature closed his powerful set with his current chart-burner, World Peace, which earned him a roar of approval from the crowd. Even though this was his first performance at Reggae Sumfest, Nature definitely came, saw and conquered. The singer is now gearing up for the release of a number of new singles such as 'Trying Man' on the Down Sound Records label.
He will be performing on a show on August 1st as part of the Jamaica50 celebrations.
