Given his raft of legal woes and that his earnings have been crippled by his incarceration, is it possible that the World Boss is in danger of going broke if he does not get bail by June?

The answer may be a resounding yes because most dancehall and reggae artistes rely heavily on bookings and tours to generate income.

The World Boss reportedly owes a promoter from the Turks and Caicos $15 million in damages for a show he missed a few years ago. Kartel also owes the Jamaican government at least $11 million in back taxes which he has made arrangemets to pay. Plus the deejay's high-powered legal team is expected to incur millions of dollars in legal fees for appeals, retainers and other billable expenses. Even though he still has several chart-topping singles like World Boss and Bike Back, sales of dancehall singles remains slow and anaemic at best.  What will the World Boss do to generate extra income? What about his other business ventures that he boasted about a few months ago? The shoe deal? The bleaching soap, creams, massage oils and other toiletries in the Oh fragrance line?

One thing is certain. The World Boss needs quick cash, and he needs it fast. Maybe he could reconsider a temporary truce with Corey Todd and restart the Street Vybz rum brand. Think about it.
