With the support of her very own record label, Divas Records, and additional backing from Toasting Music/Universal, the highly respected Grammy winner, Lady Saw, will roll out her latest album, My Way, on September 7.
My Way, the artiste declares, is more than just an album. It is a proclamation of intent, a decision and a reality.
It heralds Lady Saw’s newfound independence, having severed ties with reggae label VP Records after her 2007 album, Walk Out, followed swiftly by her decision to launch Divas Records. My Way represents the dancehall pioneer at the height of her creativity as she spits out collabs with local and international artistes and takes the reigns as producer on a number of the tracks.
