Lady Saw was in scintillating form during dancehall night at Reggae Sumfest. She performed a number of her raunchy hits including Backshot, Walk Out, Two Man, Rain is Calling, If Him Lef, Eh Em as well as her latest hits, Two Man and Mi Like Mi Mate.
Lady Saw got a forward for a song where she issued tickets to the various performers, earning a forward when she said that "mi check kartel downa remand", the crowd roared. She mentioned Diana King's recent lesbian revelation with the lines: Diana king say she ah lesbian/mi not surprise mi know from long long, and she also mentioned the mix-up between I Octane and DJ Amber saying “I-Octane hope Amber baby get yuh last name!”
"Khago anno rasta, and him nuh undastand wah threesome mean," Lady Saw said, before deejaying a line that said: Rasta bwoy Khago say him waan threesome, so yu fi bring yu face come mek mi wine pon it till mi come". For that statement, there was yet another a huge forward for the Mumma of dancehall.
She got a major forward for a song dubbed 'Shortcomings' where she had the crowd inna tizzy with lines like

She also had them laughing with the rib-tickling line belittling a man's organ deejaying: 'da ting de little like shrimp inna conch shell'.
When she was being honoured, she made reference to the year where she was banned by the Festival and saying how much the organisers had grown to love her now. She also bigged up her fellow deejays including those that had gone before her.
"Wah due to Caesar, yu give to Caesar....mi love yu spice, big up Sandy Star, Macka Diamond, Junie star, Tanya Stephens ah one ah the baddest ting, Tifa, respect to u and u madda, Shelly thunder," she said, while the crowd cheered. |
