Dancehall rapper A'mari 'DJ Mona Lisa' is gearing up for a major push of her latest single, 'Black Hypocrisy', where she applauds the diversity and strengths of Jamaica.

"Let us celebrate our country, our women are some of the most beautiful in the world, winning Miss World several times. We produced Marcus Garvey, Bob Marley and great thinkers. Don't buy into the negatives about our country, last week, over 2400 visitors came to our island to watch Buju Banton's concert, the island made over US$3.3 billion in tourism in 2018," she said.

"As black people, we are too quick to beat down our own black race because it doesn't fit into their white concepts of governance and progress, but Jamaica has all these great things happening for us so we must be doing something right," Amari, whose real name is Veneice Fung-Chung, reasoned.

The single was released on the Phantom Fireworks Record Inc. in December 2018, and features rapper Anwar GetEm, and vocals by Alex Marie Brinkley.

DJ Mona Lisa first jumped into the spotlight when she dated social media sensation Gully Bop. She was able to parlay her new-found fame to build a career as a Youtube and Facebook v-logger. Since that time, she has cultivated and curated her social media imprint and built up a decent online business.

"I am becoming known as one of the biggest brand ambassador out of Jamaica and the most influential faces on social media. I have almost 100,000 followers on Instagram. And I’m now representing an accredited weight-loss doctor based in California.; they have got me a doctor and trainer, so I will be posting the testimonials. I also represent an accounting firm based in Florida and Atlantic Auto Collision based in New York,' she revealed.

She plans to return to Jamaica late this month to shoot a video for 'Black Hypocrisy' which is now on rotation on local FM radio.

"I want to change the world with my music by sticking to certain values that can help build up our society instead of damaging it. Like Marcus Garvey said: liberate the minds of men and ultimately you will liberate the bodies of men," she said.
