Dancehall star Munga Honorable recently survived a horrific attack at the hands of a machete-wielding maniac who some say is an aspiring artiste.
At the time of the attack, Munga was rumoured to be dead.
“Postpone all funeral and nine-night. No dead to me situation!,” Munga said.
So what role did bad mind play in the alleged attack? And what are the cops doing to stop any possible retaliation even though Munga has preached that there will be no payback? And was he chopped over an argument about a spliff?
"The artiste , Munga, whose real name is Damian Rhoden, is yet to make a report at the Constant Spring police, so we cannot take any action," a liaison officer at the Constabulary Communications Unit, told one876 this week.
It is alleged that a man that can only be identified at the moment as the nephew of dancehall superstar Mr. Vegas who is rumoured to have attacked and chopped Munga in the shoulder from behind.
There is no official account on the incident or confirmation as to what happened, but the deejay confirmed that he was attacked and had to get 34 stitches for a  wound that gushed blood.
“It’s so ironic that the CD I was working on at the time contains 34 songs, and I got 34 stitches,” he said, making light of the situation.
He declined to go into whether the two had had a verbal battle before the machete attack.
