Members of the Jamaican music industry believe that Anthony B whose real name is Keith Blair was really caught up in a situation over which he had little control after he was arrested during a routine traffic stop in the city of Perry, the United States.
According to reports, Anthony B was arrested along with eight others after the authorities discovered Schedule I narcotics in the vehicle they were travelling in.

Nine people are now in custody after authorities seized drugs and $8,000 in cash. On Sunday, a Perry Police officer stopped a van for a traffic violation on Interstate 75. During the stop, the officer noticed a strong smell of marijuana and issued a search. Authorities found 5 ounces of marijuana and $8,000 in cash.

Keith Blair, Fabian Smith, Jason Garcia, Fitz Livermore, Lorne Gordon, Dewayne Hoilett, Omar Glenn, Howard Smith and Dave Richards were arrested and taken to the Houston County Detention Center. Perry Police Department Captain Heath Dykes  believes the suspects are from Florida and were heading back that way at the time of the stop. The suspects are being held in the Houston County jail. Garcia is also charged with crossing the guard line with contraband. Glenn is also charged with a window tint violation.

A representative of Master One Productions in Kingston tweeted that: "Anthony B, you are in our thoughts and prayers, Jah Rastafari will pull you through these difficult times. This is not as serious as some making it out to be. And the man was not distributing either, if you read the report, it was five ounces which pretty much a few spliffs."

Anthony B is in the middle of his Freedom Fighter tour in the US.
