A terrorist group has posted a message to Sean Paul online, warning the Jamaican artiste that they will kill him if he honours a scheduled performance in the Maldives.
Sean Paul is booked to perform in the Maldives on New Year’s eve. However, a group which consists of Maldivian jihadis with links to Syria, has threatened to kill the international dancehall artiste if he sets foot on the island nation, located in the Indian Ocean–Arabian Sea area.
“Sean Paul, if you visit the Maldives, the world will see your burned and blood-drenched dead body,” the group said in a Youtube message.
According to the group, “Through beautiful painted pictures, songs and entertainment, our beautiful society is led to destruction… We are not supposed to celebrate Western New Year and Valentine’s Day.”
