It would not be wise to underestimate Flava Unit, the youngest sound competing in the no-expletive dancehall clash ‘Follow Ur Sound’ event come Sunday, April 27 at Sugarman’s Beach, Hellshire, St. Catherine. They are stepping razors that have surprised many a selector, especially with selector Badda Bling's high-flying antics and his talent for sharp insults.

"We are taking it one day at a time. We ah go against three major giants, we are glad say a promoter can step up to the plate and include us in such as big sound clash. But we are warning our competitors: don't take us lightly. We are the youngest sound in the contest but we are the most dangerous," a member of the Flava Unit, team said.

Badda Bling and Little Rich will lead out the Flava Unit team this weekend. They believe that the no-expletive stipulation for the clash will play into their hands.

"We always abide by that sort of conduct, without clash or just on a regular basis. We are the new generation so we no support certain tings, or certain derogatory behaviour," the Flava Unit team rep said.

Flava Unit will face off against Body Guard , Silver Hawk, and Ricky Trooper , vying for $250,000 cash prize for the victor and a championship belt. The clash will be devoid of profanity and indecent language, and each has signed a contract stating such. Part proceeds of the event will be donated to the St. Mary Infirmary , a charity that promoter Dexton Ennis has been supporting for the last 14 years.

Magnum Follow Ur Sound Faceoff will be hosted by the Energy God Elephant Man and will have as judges : Wee Pow, DJ Sunshine and Culture Doctor – Dr. Sonjah Stanley Niaah.
