DJ FACE calls Queen Paula a "duppy" and a "goat" Featured

G Life Records artiste Face has issued a release dissing Queen Paula in the run-up to their lyrical face off at The Settlement.


"Tell old chigusee marymussi head Paula that she is a joke, I am tired to clash duppy. Right now, mi a wonder which colour fi wear Friday, maybe red fi run duppy because mi tired fi kill her even though dem say she a goat," DJ Face said.

"The first time she clash me back then was because her house did waan bed, now she waan clash me because the bed waan spread, I dont have time for unscrupulous people, just tell my fans to come out Friday night if dem waan see Paula burial."

Face has been on a tear in recent months, doing shows on three continents, North America, Europe and South America. In addition to shows in London, England and in Guyana, she also did a pair of stage shows, one in Toronto and the other in Montreal. At The Settlement stage show where she will "face off" with another female deejay, presumably Queen Paula with whom she has had a history of lyrical fireworks.

"Mi a go write off her half-dead career," she said. "Ah Gully mi say."

In the meantime, DJ Face said her combination song, Drive It In featuring Gyptian was doing well in the overseas markets, especially Japan.

"I am getting a lot of calls from Japan and from Trinidad about the song with Gyppy. It is very popular, we really need to do the video and promote it hard," she said.

She also has been booked for a number of local shows during August both locally and abroad..

"The next couple of weeks are going to be very busy for me, this ah go
be the Summer of DJ Face," she said, laughing.
