Dancehall star Demarco is generating a lot of controversy in the industry with his latest single, 'Hot Wings', which boasts about his ability to travel and 'touch the airport road' doing shows all over the globe. It is a song that has ruffled the feathers of several artistes in the game, a significant number of whom have US work permit problems.

The lyrics go: "Hot wings, mi name hot wings, nuff ah dem disposable like napkins, hot wings, hot wings, mi sorry fi a bwoy weh nu got tings". The song has racked up over 40,000 views in the two weeks since its release, but other artistes have taken exception, one in particular, Flexx, even doing a song suggesting that Demarco was now a "KFC cashier".

"Right now, mi nah look pon certain artistes...dem need fi buy school things fi dem pickney. Mi nu haffi link Mavado or Bounty Killer fi mek my pickney dem eat food a morning time. Mi nah beg no dub from no artiste, mi sing mi owna dub and mek money, mi nu haffi rely pon a next artiste talent fi eat a food," a confident Demarco said.

"The same man who ah talk off him mouth, ah him same one diss Mavado inna one song ,and now ah come buy out people argument, dem a war wagonist, dem a two side cutlass," he said.

The fans also weighed in on the 'Hot Wings' single, one remarking that " going into a war I wouldn't wonna call my self "hot wings" cuz man eat that too" while another remarked that: "Demarco has one of the best voice range in dancehall! (maybe the best), Kartel flow on the Chorus and Alkaline Flow on the verses, the man sick!'.

Demarco has been on a tear in recent weeks, with the Mavado diss single, King Kong', racking up 200,000 views in three weeks, and 'We Run the World' racking up over 50,000 views on over three different youtube sites. He also has a new combination single called 'Miracle' alongside Vybz Kartel.

In the meantime, the deejay continues to rack up the hits with his latest, 'Remix', hitting the top ten of the FIWI Choice top ten charts. The 'Puppytail' deejay  is getting a major international boost with the release of the upbeat single, 'Feeling U',which is featured on the album of Jamaican DJ KickRaux and Ras Kwame.

The uptempo track also features rap heavyweights like Ayo Jay, Doctor and Tyga.

The deejay said that there are plans to shoot a video for 'Feeling U' soon.
