It's not everyday you meet an artiste with a spectacular-sounding name like Daygo Playgo, but then again, Daygo is not just any artiste. He is looking to set the world on fire with his new release, World a Run Away, a song with a distinctive flow and witty rhymes, that has been bubbling up in the underground and winning the Canadian-based artiste a host of new fans. Given the recent social upheaval experienced in Jamaica with 73 people killed as the security forces and a heavily armed militia faced off, the song is incredibly relevant.

Daygo Playgo was born Adene Higgins in Spanish town, St.Catherine, on June 13, 1987. One of six children, Daygo was always involved in music by being around sound system, he was a D.j at the age of thirteen. Growing up he was inspired by Shabba Ranks, Buju Banton, Richie Spice and many more reggae icons. The alias Daygo Playgo was given to him by a close relative. Attended Homestead Primary School and then moved on to Cross All Age Middle School. At the age of sixteen he migrated to Canada from Jamaica where he now resides.
