"The response has been incredible so far, people like the flavour and
what I have to say, the Whine Pon Mi shell weh a dance over Waltham
the other day," he said.

He has also released a new single, called Mr. Agriculture which is a
take-off of Rupert Holmes' 'Escape (The Pina Colada Song), but which
focusses on the merits of
the 'weed', the 'chronic', the 'high grade', Jamaica's most notorious
agricultural export.

"I am a very musical person, I create my own beats, write my own
lyrics and produce my own songs. My friends and family in the UK
believe in me 100 per cent and I am going all out to make it," Chuky said.

Chuky has gained props on the Jamaican underground music scene, and he
has worked with various UK artists on many different recording
projects and live events which he has organized and co-ordinated. In
2004/ 5 Chuky took time out from the music world to complete a HND
in Music Engineering and Production, where he was awarded his
certificate at a ceremony held in Birmingham in 2006.

The year 2008 marked a memorable time for Chuky as he was invited to
share the stage in Jamaica with the likes of Yellow Man, Beres
Hammond, John Holt and Burning Spear to commemorate the passing of
Joseph Hill known to the world as Culture. In 2009, he went to
Switzerland where he performed in front
of a crowd of over 4000 people.

"It was amazing to see so many people singing to my songs which had
only been distributed there a few months before, it shows the power of
music. Right now, I want to work with the greats
like Sly and Robbie to create a new kind of dancehall sound that has
elements of pop, and hip hop and UK dance music, that is what I am
driving towards," he said.

Now, he's back in Jamaica promoting his new single, Whine Pon Mi, as
well as the the reggaeton-pop hybrid Anytime, and the R & B influenced

"You can look out for a new video for the Mr. Agriculture as well
because that tune is getting a big buzz on Facebook and in the
streets. I am coming to take my space in the music business," Chuky
