MD Entertainment artiste Beenie Man delivered an awesome set at this year's Reggae Sumfest concert that will go a long way towards helping the deejay reclaim his DJ of the Year title this year.

Hitting the stage at about 4:17 a.m. the deejay, dressed in a resplendent white trench coat costume, started his set with Row Like a Boat and the crowed erupted in a wave of firecrackers, air horns and fire torches. It was clear that he meant business when he immediately declared: dem say we time up, dem say we dun, dem say we nuh have nofans, but mek me see the Beenie Man fans". A forest of arms immediately reached for the sky and fire torches belched orange balls of flame.

He then segued into the Dave Kelly classic, 'Dem Nuh Like We', and then Memories, the latter of which the female members of the crowd sang word for word. Then he did a medley of Wickedest Slam, Ole Dawg and Romie. He closed that segment of his performance with Dude, the Billboard charting hit with Ms. Ting.

Then he deejayed new singles such as Eva Clean, Nuh Stress Mi Out, Stock and Pile, with each forward surpassing the previous one. Other big forwards greeted songs such as 'Red Red Red', Bag a Lie, Woman Ah Call Me, but then Beenie Man sprang a surprise on the 20,000 strong crowd when he brought on social media sensation Cliff-Twang Brown to deejay his viral youtube hit, Nobody Canna Cross It.  The crowd almost lost its collective mind and gave Beenie one of the biggest forwards of the night, one that even rivalled the cheer that greeted current top deejay Vybz Kartel when he first hit the stage that morning.

Beenie Man also brought out R & B singer Mya to do their international hit, Girls Dem Sugar, before closing his explosive set with Nuh Talk Too Long. SEE MORE SUMFEST STORIES LATER
