Toya said the idea was given to her management team by Billboard-charting producer Cordel 'Skatta' Burrell and she laid the vocals immediately afterwards. Beenie Man recorded his vocals a week later.

"It's just a wicked song, and Beenie's vocals just raised the whole thing another level, he is really a talented artiste and it's great to finally do a song with a international recording
superstar of that caliber," she said.
Toya recently scored her third number one single with 'True Blessing'. The single hit the top spot on the Jamaica Music Countdown last week after 20 weeks on the chart. Over the last couple of months, Toya has given well received performances at Tipsy at Drax Hall Estate in St. Ann, the Portmore Seafood Festival in St. Catherine, and at the Jamaica International Kite Festival during the Easter holidays.
