There appears to be a lot of sub-standard songs being put out by various producers who want to cash in on Vybz Kartel's popularity.    

"I have heard a new Kartel song that was just a demo that the producers have patched up and put on the radio and it doesn't sound so good. It off key and producers must be careful that they are not spoiling Kartel's good name by putting out substandard music that is not ready to leave the studio," one music insider said.
