Controversial dancehall artiste Ganggoolie has provoked the ire of the dancehall public with a video circulating on Facebook where he stands in the back of a big-boned fat female dancer for almost two minutes as he performs his new Boom It Up song. The performance took place in a community in St. Catherine. 

One876entertainment.com understands that the MVP athlete Jordon Scott, who was travelling with MVP clubmate Michael Campbell, burned to death in his car after it crashed into a utility pole. Campbell, who was a passenger in the vehicle, is currently in hospital.

Reggae superstar Etana is widely regarded as one of the hardest working women in showbiz today. She is currently completing a three month tour of the USA that snaked through states such as Arizona, Texas, California, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Illinois and Ohio. 

JLP Councillor for the Sydenham Division of the St. Catherine Parish Council, Hawthorne Thompson, shot two armed assailants but was injured during a shootout as he locked up his business place last night. The councillor is in stable condition, and one of the assailants has also been hospitalised.
