Residents of Falmouth believe that the dark arts were at play in an accident that claimed the lives of two persons in the vicinity of Coral Spring in Trelawny yesterday.

They are Marvin Oswald Douglas, an ex-policeman of Florence Hall in Trelawny, and Constantine James, of Wellington Street in Falmouth. One of the men is a show promoter known for the event, 'Thrills' which was slated to be held on March 17th.

Police reports are that at 4:30 p.m., a gas tanker driven by Osrick Bogle of Ridge district, Cave P.O. in Westmoreland was parked on the soft shoulder.

He told the police that he pulled off the road to check on a sound he heard on the truck. He was on the phone when he heard a bang in the right rear of the truck. He came out and saw a car, with two men aboard, had smashed into the rear of the truck.

"Ah muss obeah because one of the man dem who dead is a big promoter inna Trelawny and him inna some bad money dealings with some people, one of them all lose him house. How man crash inna one parked trailer? The way him a speed all him neck bruck," one person said.
