Dancehall artist Jay-5Flow is creating a genuine buzz statewide with his latest single, 'One Chance' on the Chase Mills Records label.
Released in April of this year, the single has been boosted by the release of a sensational video chock full of cavorting big-busted girls in bikinis, and scenes out of the feverish testosterone-fuelled dreams of a typical male teenager.
"We wanted to do a video that reflected the tone and spirit of the song. There are expensive cars in the video and scenes with me getting up close and personal with a few girls, it is every male's fantasy and people are going to love this video," he said.
The single, which appears on the Drugz riddim with dancehall heavyweights such as Beenie Man, has been generating airplay on radio stations in Jamaica, Los Angeles and the Oakland areas of California.
"I have also been getting feedback from disc jockeys in Central America, especially in Panama, Belize and Peru. The song is hot, the fans love the beat and the lyrics because it is a sexy song, a perfect party vibe," an enthusiastic Jay-5Flow said.
The video was released on VEVO on August 3.
Born Omar Craig Forsythe, Jay-5Flow grew up in Ocho Rios. In the late 1990s with the support of his good friend, Russian, Jay-5 performed at many shows and various other venues and resorts.
In 2003, Jay-5Flow relocated to Los Angeles, California to further pursue his career in entertainment, but he took a hiatus from the business until 2008 when he took on music full time and teamed up with the Red Square Crew.
Last year, Jay-5Flow made his debut appearance on the biggest dancehall/reggae one-night show, Sting, and he has not looked back since. Earlier this year, he performed on the tour for Beach Road Trip (BRT) weekend in Los Angeles and even hosted one of the events.
