Khesan seamlessly bridges the concepts of fun and mad cool. A Jamaican who was raised in Canada, Khesan has returned to his native island, determined to make it big in the music biz.

He has recorded a genuine jeep-rocker, a song called Going Nowhere, that rips the frame right out of the track. The song has been bubbling in the underground, but now he is ready to take his music to the world. "I have been experimenting with the fusion of reggae and R & B so that I can create a new sound that can rock the world," a confident Khesan said.

Khesan also sings tear-jerking ballads such as What Kinda Girl Are You, the soul-dripping Waiting for Your Love or the acoustic, guitar-driven Mi Fed Up. You can check out his music at www.khesan.com

Khesan, who was born Richard Dixon, started out as one of those individuals who were simply destined to someday take the mic and own it. He has performed in the USA, Canada and the UK.

"I haven't performed locally yet but I am looking forward to a night performing live at Christopher's and doing my thing, I would really love to get on one of those
big stage shows to show what I can do," he said.

At the tender age of seven he started performing at local community gatherings and quickly became a crowd favourite - taking a top prize at any event he entered – but how he became the consummate entertainer he is today.

"Khesan is versatile, hard-working and I am hungry for this. I was born to sing," he said.

It is self-evident to any listener that Khesan’s music exudes that party waiting to happen – whether it be a romping good time on the dance floor with hundreds of bodies involuntarily bumping and grinding, or a very private party for two. For those girls who just want to have fun Khesan’s “What kind of girl are you?” challenges them to define their sweetest pleasures, while “Rock N Roll” seems to be his tongue in cheek anthem - professing his willingness to take whatever risk is necessary to get them there. Khesan’s voice offers some emotional risk too – as his sexy man-boy warmth drifts into a wafting falsetto, his audience is powerless to do anything but join him on that emotional ride. Girl, if you’re ready to party with Khesan, put on your funkiest dancing shoes because his music is ALL ABOUT THE GROOVE, but don’t forget to wear your finest lingerie – you may be feeling like shedding a little inhibition.
