New York-based hottie Tega is pleased with the public response to the video for her latest single, Can't Hold Me Down.

"I have been getting a lot of positive feedback for the video so far, and the media fraternity, especially HYPE TV, has been very supportive, and I want to thank my fans for their constant love and support," Tega said in a release.

The single, recorded on the red hot Foxxlink Records label, is already generating a decent buzz in the dancehalls in New York, and on Internet radio.

"I have been doing a lot of interviews in the tri-state area with media personnel and on my facebook and myspace pages, fans have been saying they like my flow and my delivery. I am going all out to shut the haters up and take over my spot," a confident beaming Tega said.

After making her name as a precocious young singer in an utra-successful gospel group, performing alongside music industry heavyweights at famous venues such as Madison Square Gardens and other huge arenas, Tega has finally found her own voice.

And boy, the world had better watch out.

Based on the early feedback from local and international radio stations, this song could make the jump to the playlists of urban radio stations. Tega has proven that she belongs among the best when it comes to making hit music.

"I am now assembling a street team to aggressively promote the song in the street dances in Kingston and I believe the song ah go blow everyone away for the rest of the year," she said.
