International recording artiste Cutty Ranks is booked to perform at the Boom Town Festival and the Reggae Geel festivals in Europe this summer.

"Ah 100,000 people attend the Reggae Geel festival, it has been a while since I have been back so I am looking forward to it this year," he said.

Cutty Ranks has been making major waves with his single, International' remix song is a big hit in the region. Released last year, the drum and bass duo Chase and Status collaboration generated 4.6 million views on sound cloud and 1.5 million on youtube.

"The song has over 9 million spins when you check up everything, it is a monster song. EDM is taking over. I linked up with Chase and Status who had this great idea to take The Stopper sample and apply it to the beat, and it has been blowing up all over the world," he said.

He has also been doing some work with Bad Royal from the Skrillex camp.

"I have good chemistry with them, they did a great job on the International remix, it had over 2.8 million views online," he said.

Ranks also released his 'Full Blast' album. He has released a raft of new singles this year including 'Stun Dem', Nah Itch, Man of Respect, Alimony and Wrong Mix, a cleverly worded diss song aimed at rivals Bounty Killer and Beenie Man.

"I object to those bastards mixing up," he said, laughing.

Other new singles include 'Way to Go' featuring Beres Hammond.
