From the Broadcasting Deck of Macka Diamond / #TeamMacka I would like to take the timeout to big up all #DANCERS and also to tell narrow/shallow minded and unscrupulous people to desist from disrespecting the #Dancers!
Dancers has always played a vital role in dancehall and today it is no different because as an artiste who have gotten a lot of hits from dance move related songs i have to be grateful and show my gratitude to all #Dancers! I will not list any names because it would be a never ending list because I would have to start from those beyond the grave! (R.I.P) To those pass and gone but those who still remain and the new ones who are advancing I lift my hats to you all! Personally I av benefitted from the contribution of dancers emencely with hits from as way back as Hoola Hoop others like Cowfoot, Powa Wine, Wap Dem, Tilt Ova to name a few and there are others soon to be released! It doesnt stop there though because its not only Dance Move related songs tht dancers play a vital role in! To create a hit song it depends on the ability of the artiste/his or her writer and producer but wen it hits the airwaves and the #Streets its the #Dancers who helps you to realise the magnitude of the effect the song has! Dancehall cannot be dancehall without Dancers whether its a Routine dancer, a Comedic Dancer or Skanker if u Ska, Rocksteady, Menke, or just shake a leg all Artiste must appreciate Dancers! Dancehall must evolve n improve but it takes the effort of everyone the artiste, the radio djs, the selectors, dancers, broadcasting commission, the peanut man, the soup man, all vendors, promoters, corporate entities, the government etc n most of a all #CleanHeart! Everybody's input has been vital n still is in order to move forward! Once again I #Applaud all #Dancers n everyone who plays the smallest though still important role to contribute to dancehall! "Stop Fighting against the #Dancers as #Artiste we need them as much as they need us" Sign #TeamMacka
