International recording artiste Drake has responded to the current war of words between Beenie Man and Popcaan over a video where it appears that Beenie Man is disrespecting Popcaan's mother, 'Miss Rhona'.
Drake wrote a comment under Popcaan's hard-hitting post, “Jump Fence”, saying:  “That him do bwoy a fish tea.”
On Sunday, footage of the veteran recording artiste having a conversation with fellow entertainers Shenseea and Chris Martin in Tobago has made the rounds. Beenie Man stated he believed that the “Unruly Boss” was lying in his new smash hit single “Family” when he made a reference to running a boat.
“Other day Popcaan sing a song and a seh remember when mi use to buy three sardine and one pound a rice from shop. Three sardine and one pound a rice? p***y yuh never guh a shop yet, guh s**k yuh ma…..! Three sardine and one pound a rice? a man know how much fi three sardine?" Beenie Man said.
As the clip went viral online, Popcaan took to his Instagram account to address the “King of Dancehall”.
"Moses me rate you as a icon inna music, but don’t feel like yo can style me or miss Rhona,” the 'Family' deejay said. “If me never respect you me woulda tell yo fi do the same to yo mother… but me see say a waste a time, and a next thing humbre (sic) you need to find a song like 'Family', and then yo chat."
Beenie Man has not responded to that comment as yet.
